Terms
Last updated: 17 August 2026
These terms cover registering for and attending Howrah Admission Fair as a visitor, and your use of this website. By registering, you accept them.
Registration and entry
- Entry to the fair is free for parents and students. Registration in advance is required so that we can issue an entry pass and manage the crowd safely.
- Your entry pass is sent to the mobile number you register with. Please register with a number you can receive WhatsApp messages on.
- A pass admits the number of people stated on it. If more of you decide to come, that is usually fine, but please register the correct number so the organisers can plan.
- Passes are for personal use. They are not for sale and not transferable for payment.
- The organisers may refuse entry, or ask someone to leave, where it is necessary for the safety of other visitors or exhibitors, or where venue capacity has been reached.
Dates, venue and programme
Dates and venue for the upcoming edition are being finalised and will be announced on this site. Once announced, the organisers may still need to change the dates, the venue or the programme, and will notify everyone who has registered if that happens. The list of exhibiting institutions can change up to and during the fair.
What happens between you and an institution
Howrah Admission Fair is a venue where institutions and families meet. It is not a party to any admission, enrolment, payment or agreement between you and an exhibiting institution.
- Admission decisions, fees, seat availability and every other term of enrolment are set by the institution, not by the fair.
- Any waiver, discount or offer made at the fair belongs to the institution offering it. Offers vary by institution and are at each institution's discretion. The organisers do not guarantee that any particular offer will be available.
- Information on institution stalls and in their printed material is provided by them. Please verify anything that matters directly with the institution.
- Participation in a previous edition does not confirm participation in a future one.
At the venue
- Please look after your belongings. The organisers are not responsible for personal property that is lost or damaged at the venue.
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout.
- Photography and filming take place at the fair for coverage and promotion. If you would prefer not to appear, tell a member of the team at the venue and we will respect that. If a photograph of you or your family has already been published and you want it removed, email info@admissionfair.co.in and we will take it down.
This website
- The content of this site, including photographs and video from previous editions, is the property of the organisers and may not be reproduced without permission.
- Institution names and logos shown on this site belong to those institutions and are used to record who took part.
- We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or always reachable.
